Epic. Thanks guys. Oh and Fin, I skipped a release on purpose And I always like clean installs. I wouldn't upgrade even if I had Vista.

I have to pay £1500 + VAT a year for being a Certified Partner so £280 is a bargain.

For that I get 10 copies of ultimate (+ unlimited keys for "development & testing"), server licences & access to the entire Microsoft back catalogue. I get my money's worth.

L_U at this stage you have made an offer, it is up to ms to accept or not, thereby forming the contract or not. This is quite distinct from your order / pre-order situation which, as far as I am aware, has no legal connotation either way. Didge

No, Amazon display stuff for sale, this is an invitation to treat. You, by "pre-ordering" are making an offer for the item. The offer is only accepted by Amazon when they charge your card. This creates a contract. Your contract is with the retailer, Microsoft are not involved.

Doesn't Technet get you a fair few keys for pretty much the entire catalogue. For evaluation purposes, obviously.
