They all say that. My wife changed her mind after a week or so of Aaron being born (& that was with no pain relief at all).

Don't worry about the lack of sleep, you'll get used to it (after 18 months I can survive on a couple of hours sleep a night). Try to sleep when the baby's sleeping, it helps (& don't operate heavy machinery).

The bit before they start solids is the best... you can feed them the stuff out of jars and the colour of the poo changes accordingly! :mrgreen:

That poop is usually in the hospital. You can get a midwife to change that (as it takes a while to work out how nappies work, well that was my excuse).
Nice thick black stuff, looks like the baby has been on a Guiness diet.
