You mean the price of the thing? Probably, yes. I bought two of these from a guy in Essex for £500, and sold the other one for £600. So this one stands me at nothing.  Still, if it had of damaged my bike, I have to pay £50 excess towards having it fixed, because it's not fully comp. _________________ Kimmotalk is where all the cool people hang.

Hey? If you are third party, then you pay an excess and the insurance company sort out the third party's vehicle. You have to deal with your vehicle yourself dude. _________________

Report it asap even if you never come to pressing charges. At least he'll be on record for being a dick in case anything significant happens with him in the future. That way if there is a hit and run the police can narrow down the suspects.

The excess is (sort of) the first bit of the money when a claim is made against your policy (by you or another) and you have to pay for in addition to/excess of your annual premium.
