He's got a point about it being a breeding ground. Thanks to EU laws, rather than booting out preachers of hate, we let them stay while they radicalise people, and give them lots of benefits while they're at it.

From what my parents said about a sermon from a visiting woman cleric to their Church, there's a few members of the C of E that should also be counted in that number.

I would suspect that the actual numbers who are doing the radicalising are very few. The fact that there are almost no home grown mullahs and we have to import them from Saudi, which is an extremist society at best does not help. The mullahs come here and are unable to speak English and preach in Arabic, making no effort to integrate. The vast majority of muslims that I know do not even go to the mosque. They drink and are pretty integrated. Prisons are a huge source of radicalisation, that needs to be addressed.

That's probably true, but we should still be able to boot them out. True, but I've no idea how.

What EU laws are those? The EU only comes into it if they're European citizens, which I doubt they are. I suspect you're referring to the ECHR, which has nothing to do with the European Union, but rather the Council of Europe.

The Charter of Fundamental Rights isn't implemented in the United Kingdom, we opted-out.

Yes but even then it only applies to EU citizens, so if we've been stupid enough to give them British passports then it's our own fault. And anyway it still doesn't apply to the current situation. I'm not going to let the EU take the fall for a situation it has nothing to do with.

We're not allowed to deport people back to heir own country if they face persecution there. Some of these hate preachers come from countries with dubious human rights backgrounds, so they claim they would be hurt if they were sent back.
